TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Our prices are all inclusive for both DC and other United States areas (non-DC), except for our 5-Day Basic COTR Course which is priced separately for both DC and Non-DC locations. All pricing is firm fixed priced and permits up to 25 students to attend a class. Everything is covered in our price, except facilities and student booklets (because we email all student materials FREE electronically to your training coordinator or students directldy for agency printing and distribution). We allow agencies to reprint our materials without charge for future courses only if hosted and using The Acquisition Institute Inc., for training.
NOTE: Add $800 to the price listed for ALL courses west of the Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone. Meaning all Central and Pacific Time zone courses will cost an additional $800 on top of the base price. All courses located in the Eastern time zone are at the prices reflected on our shopping cart.
For agencies NOT wishing to print their own student course books (which we normally provide free electronically to the customer for printing), books may be purchased separately through our shopping cart at $35 per booklet per student. Our pricing permits agencies to send from (1-25) students our classes. Each agency should decide how many students your agency facility or classroom can accommodate comfortably and how many students your agency desires to send to each class. The students you send to class are up to the agency training officer, but remember, facilities MUST be adequate to comfortably seat your attendees.
If any agency wants to send more than 25 students to a class, there will be an "over and above charge" beyond the 25 student capacity which shall be billed an extra charge of $250 per additional student and must be paid for paid for using our Virtual Call Center rather than online credit card purchase, or may be accomplished via PO or training request SF-182. NOTE: All one (1) day classes that are held in DC on or near the METRO are below the Micropurchase threshold at $2795 and require full payment in advance by credit card via our shopping cart, or you can call us to make payment over the phone. Your price of $2795 (add $800 for courses in PST and CST areas) works out to an average student seat cost averages $111 per student.
SF-182, Purchase Orders and Credit Card (Purchase Card)
For courses longer than one-day in length, Training Request Forms (SF-182) or a Purchase Order are acceptable forms of course reservation. We also accept SF-182s for multiple bookings of the same one day course. If making payment by purchase card, please make payment using your government or commercial credit card at our secure payment service through CHASE at http://shop.acquisition.com after calling and confirming course dates are available for your desired timeframe. We accept Master Card and VISA through Chase Bank.
NOTE: Normally student books and facilities are required to be furnished by the hosting agency for the on-site class, and are not included in our course prices. For agencies in the Washington, DC area that do not have the capability of hosting an on-site classes due to space limitations, but wishing to do so in the DC area, TAI can provide space for you (at our UVA hosting site for government or commercial agencies in DC area)--simply pay for the number of days of classroom needed at the rate of $350 per day in our shopping cart (in advance), and the number of books needed (in advance). DC classes not held onsite would be held at the UVA campus on the Orange Metro line. Please call us first before you do this.
It is our general policy to not print course booklets, which is how we keep our prices low. We do not believe in wasting trees or creating trash, however, for those agencies that do not want to print their own books, we will provide them only if TAI receives pre-payment by the agency at the rate of ($35 per book x # students) per our shopping cart. Once books have been ordered they are considered printed, and no refund will be made on books ordered and printed.
FACILTIES. Agencies shall provide all equipment and facilities at the prices listed per our public catalog prices, and facilites shall include 1) adequate classroom space, 2) podium, 3) microphone/speaker 4) projector and 5) laptop or PC with connection with USB or CD, and 6) PC connected to the internet (OPT).
For training coordinators or purchase card holders not wanting to use our secure shopping cart, they should call us at (703) 919-4617 or (352) 450-0304 manually process their credit card payment using our Virtual Terminal process from Chase Bank via our customer service agent. However, it is suggested you use our CHASE shopping cart to pay directly as you would any other normal credit card transaction as it is quick, simple, and very easy to use, and will provide you with an automatic and fully refundable receipt document. All transactions are absolutely SECURE through CHASE Bank Financial.
Course Cancelation Notice: should you cancel a course already ordered and committed to, that any
TAI travel, taxi and other travel related fees incurred by TAI shall be required to be reimbursed your agency
that cancels the course for "any" reason when using a PO or SF-182 in accordance with our course
cancellation rate terms and condition schedule. To obtain and provide our low pricing, we book all airfare,
hotel, etc and rental cars as "non-refundable" so should an agency cancel a booked course they will be
subject to re-payment in full of all "incurred charges" under the existing SF-182 or Purchase Order. It is
important to always call us first to confirm course availability dates, and the proper course price.
